Our Leadership Luncheon, featured keynote speaker, Councilman Rick Callahan, Dallas City Council District 5.  Councilman Callahan gave updates about Pleasant Grove/Southeast Dallas area and what to look for in the future including information about the Bond Campaign that passed on November 7.  He also presented information about project Pleasant Grove Now.  Councilman Callahan's vision is to focus attention on the southeastern area of Dallas.  There are three focus areas: Increase Development, Enhance Recreations and Train Workforce.  There is lots of excitement buzzing around Pleasant Grove because this area has long been overlooked.  An Aquatic Park at Crawford Park at Elam Road and Prairie Creek is scheduled to open in 2018 and the AT&T Byron Nelson Golf Tournament will also take place at Trinity Forest in 2018.  Click here for more information about Pleasant Grove Now.  Click here for pictures from the luncheon.
